Hallowe’ening on a Budget!

It’s another one of those ‘pre-Christmas events’ and for such reasons, we decided that we would attempt Halloween on a budget this year!

Out came the old dresses, crayon, scissors and string…a few shop-bought additions and here were our costumes!

Orlaith was a witch again this year; I also cut the back out of her dress and made a lace-up feature from string!!! Emelie was corpse bride and myself as Paul, a zombie and black cat!

As we had money left to spend, we invited my niece and nephew, made Witches’ Blood (black current!) and some party food and even arranged a Halloween treasure hunt with prizes!

The dead man’s spider jelly went down a treat too!!
We bought masks for the kids to paint as a party activity, which cost only 29p each!!!

Total spend £10!!!
